EMDR-Informed Trauma & Grief Intensive
Focused Time. Deeper Support. Intentional Healing.
Some experiences need more than a 50-minute therapy session.
The EMDR-Informed Trauma & Grief Intensive is a private, multi-day therapeutic experience for individuals ready to dedicate focused time to addressing unresolved trauma, traumatic grief, chronic emotional stress, and patterns that continue to affect their lives.
Led by Tamar Draughn, LPC, this immersive experience combines trauma-informed clinical care, EMDR-informed approaches, nervous system regulation, and integrative mind-body practices within a carefully structured therapeutic environment.
Rather than beginning and ending the work each week, an intensive provides extended therapeutic time to slow down, establish safety, explore what has been carried, and support meaningful integration.
Who Is This Intensive For?
This experience may be appropriate for individuals navigating traumatic or complex grief, unresolved trauma, chronic stress or anxiety, emotional exhaustion, relational or attachment wounds, significant life transitions, or nervous system dysregulation.
It may also be beneficial for individuals who have already done some therapeutic work and feel ready for a more concentrated approach.
The Experience
Your intensive begins with a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment planning so that the experience can be thoughtfully designed around you—not a predetermined protocol.
Over four days, we move through focused therapeutic sessions incorporating EMDR-informed trauma work, nervous system support, somatic awareness, grief-sensitive care, and selected restorative practices.
The experience also includes preparation and post-intensive integration support to help you carry the work forward after our time together.
Available Scheduling
Choose a Monday–Thursday weekday intensive or a Thursday–Sunday intensive designed to provide greater accessibility for professionals, entrepreneurs, caregivers, and others who may need weekend scheduling.
Both formats provide the same intentional, multi-day therapeutic experience.
Regulation → Restoration → Reintegration™
My intensive work is guided by a three-part framework:
Regulation
Establish safety, strengthen internal resources, and support nervous system stabilization.
Restoration
Create protected therapeutic space to address trauma, grief, emotional patterns, and what your mind and body have been carrying.
Reintegration
Support your transition back into everyday life with greater awareness, personalized tools, and an intentional plan for continued healing.
This Is Not About Rushing Your Healing
An intensive doesn’t promise to erase years of experiences in four days.
It creates something that can be difficult to find in traditional weekly therapy:
time.
- Time to settle.
- Time to understand.
- Time to process.
- Time to listen to your body.
And time to work without watching the clock every 50 minutes.
Your pace, readiness, history, and nervous system matter. Every intensive is individualized, and appropriateness is determined through consultation and clinical assessment.
